Our People: 

Abdulla Rahhal: Founder & Principal Solicitor

Abdulla is a Legal and Communications Professional with more than 15 years of experience in Legal, compliance, marketing, and communications sectors. Abdulla is a Solicitor Member of the Law Society of NSW as well as a current Professional Member of the Fundraising Institute of Australia (FIA).

Abdulla founded Headstart Legal after gaining a variety of experiences working as Legal Counsel as well as a Director of Fundraising and Communications at a leading International Not for Profit Organisation.

Before working in house, Abdulla had worked as a solicitor at multiple law firms and community legal centres such as the Kingsford Legal Centre and the Welfare Rights Centre. He has a strong passion for human rights work and has volunteered his time, energy, and skills to support many local community organisations over the years, including the Australian National Imams Council (ANIC) and the Office of the Grand Mufti of Australia.

Abdulla completed his Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales (UNSW- 2011) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, Sydney (2012). In 2013 Abdulla was admitted as a solicitor of the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia.
